This morning is all about meetings and editing and fiction. This afternoon is all about the dentist (last of the peridontal follow-up, if I'm lucky) and this evening is all about teaching. In between the zones, there are certain things that must be accomplished: discussions about cover art, discussions about letters, discussions about body corporate issues (the one I dread most) and discussions about teaching next year. I started work 15 minutes ago and will finish in 14 hours time.
Why am I listing all this? To remind myself that today was scheduled a quiet day, of course, because I knew I was going to hurt because well, sometimes one just knows. I am now scheduling a nap on the bus on the way to the dentist, and I'm eating much fresh stone fruit. That should keep me going.
It's all good stuff and today will be a good day. I am taking much calcium and other musclehurtstopthings to ensure this is so. Also much coffee. And tomorrow I shall get that sleep I threatened myself with yesterday.
What's cool is that the rerrangements that have made today so busy mean that I might get Thursday and Friday as writing days. It all depends on them not turning zonal on me...
