I could say "I haven't forgotten" but I'd be lying through my teeth again. Fortunately I have friends to remind me that my liquor cabinet will be open to friends on the night of 13 March. We'll start around 7 pm and if anyone's still round at midnight they can join me online and rejoice in the opening session of Flycon. BYO food (preferably vegetarian, but definitely no fish, seafood, peanuts, Brazil nuts or porcine products). BYO fizzy drinks and mixers. I'm making yummy historical edibles as well as encouraging people to drink wine and medlar liqueur.
If you want to dress up, you can (cross dressing for men is particularly encouraged) but, given that my housekeeping will be its usual self, the aim of the evening will be to enjoy ourselves. If I am urged enough, I'll read you my absolutely dreadful Purim spiel, full of acronyms and digs at archaeologists.

PS If online friends urge me enough I might make my Purim story available for my flist. I warn you that the acronyms are bad, the whole thing is unPC and archaeologists have been known to swear vengeance at my portrayal of their noble profession.
