Today I have worked perhaps a tad too hard. I knew this when I reached nearly 4 pm and wondered why I was hungry and then realised I had forgotten lunch. Now I realise it again when I looked at my list of things to be done today and read 'celery notes.' I have no notes on celery, by celery or for celery on my to do list. I have no Aitr Lum to meet, nor does Sharyn's chef need packing.

There are only six things left on my 'to do' list. I might have something to eat before I try to do them. Food has to magically rearrange letters so they make sense. If food doesn't, I shall regard my writing as a sign from on high that I need to watch TV this evening. It must be a sign from on high. It certainly can't be a note from my celery.

I am typing up my celery notes, since I think I might know what they are now. It struck me, though, that I could be spending my time much more usefully in compiling a list of Culturally Imponderable Tourist Destinations for visitors to Australia. My list is very, very short right now, because the celery notes keep getting in the way, and I would appreciate lots of suggestions so that if anyone asks what they ought to see when they visit our fair region, I can step right up with something that meets their needs.

1. The Harold Holt Memorial Swimming Pool, Melbourne

2. The exact place where Mary Bligh tried to bash a military force (fully armed) with her parasol, Sydney.

3. The building where William Bligh (once Captain of the Bounty, but at that time Governor of NSW) was hiding secret documents under Malcolm Turnbull's ancestor's bed, Sydney.

4. That famous Johnny Gilbert's even more famous grave in Binalong (because it would take far too long to visit the graves of everyone he murdered), Binalong.

5. Kylie Minogue's high school, Melbourne.

6. Rutherglen. The reason Rutherglen is on the list is because Sydney Harbour isn't.

7. Manuka - because only Canberrans can pronounce it.

There have to be more. Help me, someone!
