May. 25th, 2009 04:48 pmToday has been just a bit too exciting. Nothing dire, but lots of potential for direness explored.
What I want to know is why good things are only described as 'just a bit too exciting' when they lead to bad? My father told me about the surprise wedding anniversary party my aunt gave him (which was so much a surprise that I wasn't there, which is why he had to tell me about it) and described it as 'just a bit too exiting' when he had to take his angina medicine.
This makes today sound far more glamorous than it was. Not glamorous. Not dire. But I'll be very glad to make those missed meetings tomorrow and to get back on track.
