I've stopped wasting time, honest.

I just had to check to see whether my grandmother and her siblings and parents enrolled to vote and actually voted the moment they were allowed to. From 1903 my family seems to have been entirely legal and voted when they were supposed to.

I could get back to work now. Or I could anxiously check the letterbox. Or I could have a cup of tea. Or maybe I could check to see whether my grandmother's father's family also voted?

Voting is compuslory here, so I didn't actually have to play around with search engines and websites. The question was really whether my grandmother enrolled to vote when she came of age. it took two minutes to discover that my whole family has enrolled to vote the moment they were entitled for the last hundred and something years. All the rest was faffing around. In fact, even that was faffing around.

I think I need a cuppa.

PS I just realised that I didn't check for Auntie Gussie and her family (different surname). Does this mean I get more time to faff round? I think I blew my excuse the moment I blogged.
