Dec. 15th, 2006 01:19 pmToday is not a good day. Telstra isn't helping.
You know Telstra? That telecommunications company with whom I parted ways under unhappy circumstances (they couldn't find a way to let me pay my bills without incurring extra charges or undergo a walk to a retail outlet of their choice - sometimes both)? Months ago? yes, that Telstra.
I now have had my fourth phonecall telling me they want me back. This time I asked "Why are you ringing me for the fourth time?"
"We haven't rung you before."
I explained that he hadn't, but that this was the fourth phonecall and that each time I had been promised that this would be the last.
To be fair, the guy on the other end of the phone was mortified. Today is a high pain day though (I have exactly one spoon, for the spoonishly inclined and I'm saving it for essential shopping for tomorrow) and I didn't need that call.
I will be fine for the party tomorrow (cos I'm resting *heaps* today) - my place won't be perfectly beautiful though. I'm only doing the essentials in the housework front. It will be a relaxed and happy party, despite my nuisansical body.
PS I found a bit more energy and caught up a little on work. I'm still not happy at Telstra, but I'm less wan and feaneante.
